About Me With these skills and projects under my belt I will be well prepared for my second directed field study. I am looking forward to showing firms what I can do for them. I am also eager to learn from employers through different design styles, fields and approaches. My design style is still very loose as I am trying to keep myself open to new ideas and concepts. I have been inspired by the works of numerous great architects and designers such as Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe, Frank Gehry, Karim Rashid and Michael Graves. Dark woods, metal and concrete are all elements I like to experiment with but not limit myself to. Through my work experience I have broadened my knowledge of materials, sparking interest in new forms and possibilities. I strive to incorporate the latest |
technology and production methods in my designs. Using LEED as a guide, I also find it important to utilize environmentally friendly planning for economical and safe man made environments. My ultimate goal is to produce creative, cutting edge, and functional 'green' works of art.
